Look at me blogging! It only took 2 months!

So I think my life has been boring the last two months! I'm not as good at this as I thought I would be. Half the problem is my brother has "borrowed" my camera. He moved to Louisiana and wants to keep in contact with us so I was a very nice sister and sent my camera to him. So now that I have told you my excuses I will let you know what's been going on. =)

This past weekend I went to my first Shock game! It was a lot of fun. They won 62 to 34 against the Tri-City Fever. It was really loud in the arena. My friends Phil and Tony came too and we yelled quit a bit! I guess you could say we're trying to get our yelling voices ready for the Seahawks games!

Sunday was Easter and it was a wonderful day spent with my family and friends. As our family tradition we went to church together and then afterward went to Starbucks so I could celebrate making it through the Lent season without coffee. Lent is a Catholic tradition in which we choose to give up something of importance for 40 days until Easter. I always choose to give up coffee, meat, and pop. My niece Catherine who's 9 gives up candy! So needless to say I was hyper from coffee and she was running around on a sugar high! I had a lot of friends over to my house for a BBQ in the afternoon. It's nice to have a house full of people.

The countdown has begun! My friend Helda's wedding is coming up soon! This is a picture of the two of us. She is getting married in a small town about an hour away from here. I'm very excited to be a bridesmaid. She's one of best friends! I will make sure to take lots of pictures at the wedding. I've been very busy helping her with the details of a wedding. It's out in a farm area and when I say it's a small town it really is. We went out there two weeks ago and the mayor came to greet us because the town is very excited for 100 "city folks" to be visiting soon. They don't have places for us to stay so we are going to be camping in a park that's the size of the cafeteria! Can you imagine 50 tents packed in that small of a space? It should be fun!
I will try to keep my blog up a little better than I have been! I might need some reminders though! =)

New Blog

So I'm finally giving in to the Internet world! Not yet ready for myspace or facebook but I wanted to start small. =) This is a blog I want to keep updated letting everyone know what's going on in my life. Hope you enjoy!

I'll start with my recent trip to L.A.! It was so nice! I went with my friend Cory over President's Day weekend. The weather was wonderful-- Low 60's!
This was Santa Monica Beach! It was beautiful. We walked the pier at night and went back to the beach the next day. People were bundled up in winter clothes and we were walking around in light jackets. I guess you could tell we were tourists.

One of my favorite things was the wax museum! It was so cool. They had all kinds of wax figures from all different kinds of movies. My absolute favorite collection had to be Star Wars. They all looked so real.
Another cool part of the trip was Hollywood. We walked all around the 'Walk of Fame' It was awesome to see all of these stars name and know they had been there at some time or another. It was so busy down there but overly so because they were setting up for the Oscars! Now I'm excited to watch the Oscars to say "I've been there. I saw that!"

The trip was great but there is nothing like coming home! Even if there still is a lot of snow!
